Thomas is a Government Contracts Professional who has worked in the Nuclear Energy Sector and Contract Administration for 25+ years. He earned an advanced degree (Master's in Contract Administration from George Washington University) and holds two registrations as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) and Federal Contracts Manager (FCM). He currently is Nuclear Contracts Manager for Orano, a French owned subsidiary of Electricite de France. In his role, he is responsible for all EDF contracts, operating from cradle to grave administration.

Thomas is interested in leading the progress of the West Side Revitalization, while keeping Affordable Housing affordable. He has fostered relationships with investors and business leaders whose acumen provides funding for the revitalization.

Thomas, and his husband Richard have lived in West Charlotte since 2009, first as residents of Biddleville/Smallwood, then moving into their forever home in Seversville. They enjoy weekend outings with their two fur babies and enjoy the amenities the revitalized West Side has to offer. In his free time, Thomas fancies himself a Wine Enthusiast. He is currently building his wine collection of Old World Wines focusing on the Rhone Valley, specifically the Guigal region of France.
